The First Baptist Church of Payette, Idaho was organized on June 4, 1887.  Our church started as a small group of people in a wooden school house.  By 1902 they had outgrown the school house and laid the foundation for the building that was used until 1970.The present church, purchased in 1970, is located at 15 North 10th Street in Payette.
 

First Baptist Church is a member of Mission Northwest (missionnorthwest.org) in the American Baptist Churches USA (abc-usa.org).

We have a traditional Worship service, where we sing hymns and praise songs alike.  Our average attendance runs about 70 members, and we always have room for you!
 

We remember the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, gave on Calvary, with the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of every month.  We serve open communion, meaning if the Lord calls you to his table, you are welcome to participate.
