We want to thank you for your interest in Payette First Baptist Church.  Our goal is to clearly communicate a message of the hope that we have in Jesus Christ. This hope is not found in religion or anything that we can see, but only in a personal relationship with Jesus.

As you enter the church building, you should be met with warm smiles and friendly handshakes. Bulletins, will be given to you as you enter the building. If you come for Sunday School, we have 2 adult classes and children’s classes available.

 

What if I'm not Baptist?

Not a problem!  We affirm that God moves and works through God's whole body, not just us! The Church is a broad body, of which we are simply one part. Everyone is welcome to join us here at First Baptist!  (See Our Purpose and Statement of Faith under the What We Believe Tab on the Website)

 

Does it matter what I wear?

Absolutely not! You'll find people dressed in all different ways at First Baptist. It ranges from suits to jeans, you'll find it all here. 

 

What about my children? 

Our Worship service is family based, we invite your children to join us in the service.  If you have younger children (5 and under), we provide nursery care following the giving of offerings during the service.  A nursery attendant will come to your pew and quietly ask if your children wish to go to the nursery for the rest of the service.

 

Communion

Communion (also called the Lord's Supper) is one that our Lord and Savior Himself ordained and asked us to re-enact. We welcome all to the table who believe in Jesus. Those on the journey of faith, including those taking their first steps in faith, are welcome and encouraged to participate. If do not wish to participate simply just allow the elements to pass by.
